eBECS Royal Canadian Mint Case Study

The Royal Canadian Mint (RCM) is a commercial Crown corporation involved in all aspects of coin design, production and marketing in one
of the largest and most complex minting facilities in operation today. RCM sells its products to Canadians and customers around the world
through a variety of channels. Faced with a time consuming heterogeneous legacy environment that was growing increasingly difficult to use
and expensive to support and upgrade, RCM decided to implement a new IT platform based on the Microsoft Dynamics™ AX enterprise resource
planning (ERP) solution. Working with implementation partners Deloitte, eBECS and Junction Solutions, RCM‟s new Dynamics AX-based environment
delivers better cost control through greater visibility into operations – helping the RCM improve time-to-market responsiveness and helped
make this the most profitable year the Mint has ever had.

eBECS Allgood AX Case Study

Every time Peter Hill walks through a doorway, he checks out the competition. As Managing Director of Allgood, a leading supplier
of ironmongery in the United Kingdom, he quickly compares the weight and design of the door handle to Allgood’s standard of excellence.
At work, Hill promotes excellence by helping Allgood employees execute efficient post-sales business processes, tasks hampered by three
disparate business systems and manual workarounds. When Allgood deployed a Microsoft® business management solution, Hill gained a powerful
tool to refine business processes, promote proactive decision making, and improve productivity.

eBECS Kannegieter AX Case Study

Based in the Netherlands, Kannegieter distributes electrical products and cable solutions to installers of
communication networks. The company needs to continually improve services to help distinguish itself in a competitive market.
Having originally deployed a former version of Microsoft Dynamics™ AX, it wanted to take advantage of the support and integration
possibilities available in a later release of the product. Kannegieter worked with Microsoft® Gold Certified Partner eBECS to upgrade
to Microsoft Dynamics AX 3.0, and has since customized the new, robust system to meet its specific needs. Logistics employees have
consolidated their administrative processes by using the solution, freeing an hour a day for more productive work. It is now easier
for customers to place orders online, and the company is well placed to upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 in 2008.

eBECS Yuasa Battery Europe AX Case Study

Yuasa Battery Europe, a subsidiary of GS Yuasa, was formed in 2003 to bring continuity across the sales and manufacturing
organizations that supply industrial and automotive batteries to a network of customers throughout Europe. The original enterprise resource
planning (ERP) system at Yuasa was costly to maintain and lacked the flexibility and automation required to support the company’s complex supply
chain. Yuasa teamed with Microsoft® Gold Certified Partner eBECS to implement Microsoft Dynamics™ AX 4.0 business management software. In just six
months, the company rolled out a highly customized system that effectively supports the complex supply chain and helps minimize the burden on internal
IT resources. Today, Yuasa Battery Europe has comprehensive visibility across the entire supply chain and has automated multiple processes to create
      a more efficient, streamlined business.

eBECS JJ Food Service AX Case Study

For most wholesale and distribution companies, making sure customers get the right
product to the correct location on time whilst maintaining a profitable business is the ultimate
goal, achieved by ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all business processes
from taking customer orders to delivery is
paramount to the success of business. JJ
Food Services is constantly striving to fulfil
the demands of its customers as efficiently
as possible, while controlling costs. Disparate
systems simply can’t support the level of
business operations that are needed without
wasting time, effort and money, and impacting
        customer service.
Now Mushtaque Ahmed does not receive customer
complaints. Happy customers do not call
the Senior Business Operations Manager at JJ
Food Services. Instead, they continue to call
its call centre with more orders for its products.
With customer orders rising at a rate of 50 per
cent over the last six months, JJ Food Services
is able to look back at the changes it has
made in the running of its business and see
        how far it has progressed.

eBECS Wika AX Case Study

WIKA USA is a leading manufacturer of pressure and temperature instrumentation. In 2001,
the company decided to adopt Lean Manufacturing principles to increase customer satisfaction and reduce costs.
The company’s ERP system at the time required significant modification to support the Lean efforts and, as a result
of those modifications, was becoming difficult to maintain. In 2006, WIKA USA implemented Microsoft Dynamics™ AX
business management software with a complete Lean Enterprise solution from Microsoft® Gold Certified Partner eBECS®.
The new solution enhances WIKA’s Lean program by making it easier for operations managers to eliminate inefficiency,
customers to plan their orders, and IT staff to modify and maintain the system. Since the implementation, WIKA reduced
order lead times from several weeks to as little as five days and increased inventory turnover by a factor of 12.

People at office supplies manufacturer Esselte were struggling to track and report on stock in disparate IT systems to gain global insight on inventory. Esselte wanted to consolidate 12 global enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions and nine warehouse management systems used across 30 countries with one integrated, scalable solution. The aim was to improve the visibility of data across the global business. With the help of Microsoft® partner eBECS and various other partners, Esselte rolled out Microsoft Dynamics™ AX. By standardising on one solution and streamlining processes, the employees at Esselte have better access to critical data to monitor sales figures, manage orders, and predict stock needs quickly and efficiently. Esselte increased efficiency throughout the organisation, assisting the company to reduce inventory by 50 per cent in its transition to becoming a lean manufacturer.

eBECS Benefit Cosmetics Case Study

Benefit Cosmetics creates inventive, problem-solving beauty products. A subsidiary of Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy, Benefit Cosmetics
has transitioned from an independent brand to a global presence in just years. The company’s technology and processes struggled to keep
pace with the fast expansion, and the manual methods it relied upon made the cosmetics company vulnerable to monetary fines for not
following the strict procedures required by large retailers. The company also needed to accurately forecast supply and demand metrics.
This led Benefit Cosmetics to deploy Microsoft Dynamics™ AX business management software, which enables the company to streamline packaging
and shipping, drastically reducing costly penalties and increasing efficiencies. Benefit Cosmetics has also saved millions of dollars with
the resource planning tools available in Microsoft Dynamics AX.
