eBECS Implements Microsoft Dynamics AX HR Internally to Help Manage Its Steady Growth

As a successful and fast-growing company, the senior management at eBECS recognised the need for an HR solution that would help to increase the motivation of the workforce while minimising the cost and complexity of administration of element such as benefits and performance management. Furthermore, eBECS required a solution that would make the essential recruitment process faster, cheaper and more effective.

Louisa Allison, HR Manager at eBECS explains, “Microsoft Dynamics HR offers everything I need to do my job effectively. The beauty of implementing a Microsoft solution is that 85% of it was ready to use and the remaining 15% was easily adapted to suit my needs perfectly. Allison continues, “The biggest advantage to me has been in managing recruitment to meet the ever-growing demands of the business, which used to take up a staggering 60% of my time. With the new system, whenever I have a vacancy to fill, the CVs are loaded onto the system and I use Dynamics HR to electronically sift through them all to identity specific skills to meet the vacancy need. This has saved me hours of time and it also avoids human error by rapidly extracting only those CVs that are relevant. This is
especially important for our close working relationship with Microsoft because we must provide consultants that are appropriately experienced and certified. It also helps to maintain morale because for example we can constantly monitor certifications and the technical development of each member of staff.

Allison concludes, “We now have an easy-to-use system to manage the workforce and their skills, and one that can be exported into Excel at the touch of a button for internal reporting and decision making. Our attrition rates are very low so we have good reason to believe our employees like it too.”
