Multi-award-winning Microsoft Dynamics reseller, eBECS Limited, which operates from offices in the UK, North America, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, has today announced the launch of its ‘Cloud Services for Microsoft Dynamics’ solution.
eBECS is one of the first partners in the world to successfully obtain the Microsoft Cloud Performance competency. It is an accreditation achieved as a result of eBECS’ extensive Microsoft Dynamics AX, CRM and BI experience combined with its ability to host those applications on Microsoft’s cloud application platform, namely Microsoft Azure. This is the same platform used by some of the world’s largest organisations, including 3M, GM and Microsoft’s Xbox Live service.
Christian Pedersen, General Manager, Dynamics AX at Microsoft Corporation comments, “Most companies are rapidly increasing their use of cloud technologies; it’s happening every day and many companies don’t even think about it. We are therefore delighted that eBECS, our UK Reseller of the Year in 2014, is working very closely with Microsoft to drive the “Microsoft Cloud for Business” initiative with Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Azure, both in the UK and internationally. We see customers realize significant business benefits through this initiative and are excited that eBECS’ will bring it to their clients as well with a unique offering. New business scenarios with a speedier time to market and tangible cost savings is something all companies will appreciate.”
Stephen Wilson, Marketing Director at eBECS, comments, “eBECS is extremely proud to be able to offer such a compelling and cutting-edge Cloud solution. It allows our clients to assess the very latest Cloud technologies and then run their Microsoft Dynamics AX, CRM and BI applications in a world-class Cloud environment, potentially for a fraction of the cost of an on-premise solution.”
For as little as £2,500 per month, this solution helps eBECS’ clients in three key areas:
- Organisations no longer need to buy expensive hardware because eBECS can set up and manage its clients’ development, test and user acceptance training (UAT) environments in the Cloud. Such an environment initially supports up to 20 concurrent users, making it cost effective, more agile and easily scalable as it uses the same development tools as traditional on-site environments
- It offers the latest Windows Server systems to provide a production environment that includes the set up, deployment and management of a Cloud service using Microsoft’s best-practice and procedures
- It includes a store, backup and disaster-recovery solution for clients’ data using the latest elastic computing technology, which reduces the need to run large environments that are often built for worst case scenarios.
Wilson continues, “The Cloud offers a new way of working to all organisations across the world. We have launched our Cloud Services for Microsoft Dynamics solution to ensure that our clients can exploit their existing investment in Microsoft Dynamics applications by combining them with the latest developments in Cloud technologies.”
He concludes: “We understand that moving to the Cloud is a daunting, but probably inevitable, prospect for many organisations. This is precisely why our Cloud Services for Microsoft Dynamics solution includes an optional ‘Cloud Ready Assessment’ module, which allows our clients to investigate and define their Cloud strategy before making any strategic decisions.”
The Cloud Services for Microsoft Dynamics solution from eBECS was formally launched in September 2014, and already two of eBECS’ largest clients are using the new Cloud Ready Assessment module to evaluate whether a move to the Cloud would suit their application and organisational needs.
