eBECS extends its Microsoft gold competencies to further embrace Cloud and Data Analytics

Microsoft-Cloud-Partner

eBECS, the leading total Microsoft Business Solutions implementation partner, has extended its set of Microsoft gold competencies to include Cloud Platform, Cloud Customer Relationship and Data Analytics. These latest Microsoft-recognised areas of expertise complement eBECS’ award-winning capabilities in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Business Intelligence (BI), including Microsoft Power BI.

According to Stephen Wilson, Marketing Director at eBECS, “this latest achievement underlines eBECS’ commitment to total business solutions, developed cost-effectively using standardised templates, yet precisely tailored to our customer’s specific industry and business needs.”

Wilson explained: “Cloud and Managed Services – including DaaS (Dynamics as a Service) – have become central to what we do, so the Cloud Platform and Cloud CRM competencies were a natural step for us. More than 57% of Fortune 500 companies are using Microsoft Azure, and there is now a significant Cloud element in around 80–90% of eBECS’ implementation for its customers.

“Similarly, the new Data Analytics competency signals our commitment to Business Intelligence and the burgeoning Internet of Things (IoT). Companies want to use the tremendous amount of data they have accumulated, but they don’t want to spend huge amounts of time and money – they want to see the value very quickly. This new competency gives eBECS customers the reassurance that we are ready with the expertise and the rapid-return methodologies they need to extract maximum business value from their data. What’s more, our Business Intelligence and Power BI solutions do not rely on customers having Microsoft Dynamics ERP or CRM systems. Customers can also easily leverage data in other systems, such as SAP or JD Edwards, using Microsoft BI and Power BI, and they may already have Microsoft licences in place that permit this.”

Leveraging the Microsoft IoT platform, eBECS has already delivered a comprehensive ‘Big Data’ and RFID tag solution for Berendsen plc, who provide textile and commercial laundry services across 16 European countries. According to Duncan McMillan, IT director at Berendsen, “With eBECS, I very quickly got to talk to technically-expert people who could clearly describe how they could help us, and what the solution would actually look like.”

To earn each Microsoft gold competency, Microsoft partners must successfully complete exams (resulting in Microsoft Certified Professionals) to prove a high level of technology expertise. These certified professionals must then be designated uniquely to their specific Microsoft competency. For each competency the Microsoft Partner has to submit customer references to demonstrate successful projects, as well as taking part in an annual Microsoft customer satisfaction survey.

eBECS’ expertise in Microsoft Business Solutions is recognised globally. The company was named Microsoft’s Global ERP Partner of the Year in 2013 and was a finalist in 2015’s CRM Global Partner of the Year Award. eBECS was also named Microsoft Dynamics UK Reseller of the Year in 2015 (an award it has won five times in six years), and has been part of the prestigious Microsoft Dynamics Inner Circle for five years running.
