eBECS Expense Policy for Dynamics 365 Project Service Automation

eBECS’ Expense Policy for Dynamics 365 allows for you to enforce expense rules specific to a project.

Expense Policy Templates. Create your own expense policy rules that meet your project contract expense policy requirements. Once an expense template is created, it can be allocated to multiple Quotes and Projects. Click here to view the screenshot.

Automatically reject expenses not adhering to defined policy. When setting up an expense policy, automatic rejection rules can be enforced when an expense claim of a specific expense type is automatically rejected and not allowed for submission if it is over a certain value. Enforce company Tax rates by expense type. Standard functionality of PSA expense policy requires the user entering in the expense to enter the Tax rate. With eBECS Expense Policy solution these tax rates can be defined by expense type and organisation unit to automatically populate the users’ tax rate when recording a receipt.

Supports Mileage/KM expense entry rules. Expense claims of type mileage/km require a user to enter in the appropriate fields for claiming travel, such as the number of km/miles travelled and will work out the claim value. For our UK customers additional functionality is included where VAT is calculated on mileage based on the vehicles engine size. Mileage engine capacity rules can be recorded in the system to automatically allocate the VAT available based on an expenses mileage entry.

Works with Standard Dynamics 365 PSA features. In extending Microsoft 365 PSA expense features, eBECS has ensured that customers who implement eBECS Expense Policy will be able to continue to use all other native PSA features. The solution seamlessly fits in with PSA and continues to record all expenses and approved expenses defined by the Microsoft architecture.
